Deposit Process Step-by-Step
1Login & Navigate
Access your verified Stake.com account and locate the 'Wallet' section, usually prominent in your dashboard.
2Select 'Deposit'
Within the Wallet, choose the 'Deposit' option.
3Choose Cryptocurrency
Select the specific crypto you want to deposit (e.g., Bitcoin). Ensure it's the correct one.
4Get Deposit Address
Stake will display a unique deposit address (and possibly a QR code) for the selected crypto. Copy this address exactly.
5Initiate Transfer
Go to your external crypto wallet or exchange (where you hold the coins). Start a 'Withdraw' or 'Send' transaction.
6Send Funds
Paste the copied Stake address into the recipient field. Enter the amount. CRITICAL: Select the correct network (see warning below). Confirm.
7Wait for Confirmations
Crypto transactions need blockchain confirmations. Wait time varies by network. Your Stake balance updates once confirmed.

CRITICAL: Select the Correct Network!
This is the most common reason for lost funds! When sending crypto, you MUST select the correct blockchain network that is supported by BOTH your sending wallet/exchange AND Stake for that specific coin.
Examples: Sending BTC requires the Bitcoin network. Sending ETH or ERC-20 tokens usually requires the Ethereum (ERC-20) network. Sending BNB or BEP-20 tokens requires the Binance Smart Chain (BEP-20) network.
Always double-check the network required by Stake in the deposit section for your chosen coin. Sending via the wrong network will likely result in irreversible loss of funds.
Security Best Practices for Deposits

Triple-Check Addresses: Copy and paste carefully. Verify the first and last few characters. Sending to the wrong address is usually final.

Consider Test Transactions: For large amounts or first-time deposits, send a small test amount first to ensure everything works correctly.

Secure Your Source: Ensure your external wallet/exchange is secured with strong passwords and 2FA.

Use Official Links: Always access Stake directly via trusted bookmarks or by typing the URL to avoid phishing scams.

Avoid Public Wi-Fi: Don't perform transactions on unsecured public networks.

Enable 2FA on Stake: Secure your Stake account itself with Two-Factor Authentication (see Security Tips).

Verification (KYC): Be aware that Stake.com, like most platforms, will likely require identity verification (Know Your Customer - KYC) at some point, possibly before processing deposits or withdrawals, to comply with regulations. Be prepared to submit documents like ID and proof of address.
